In
South Korea, a fully-working prototype of a new bullet train which is the
fourth-fastest train in the world (after France, Japan and China) was
introduced in 2012. The bullet train has a sleek black and cream look that look
like a killer whale or a giant bug.

The train was named as HEMU 430X, where the number comes
from its maximum speed which is 430 km/h (267 mph). South Korea introduced the
high-speed trains based on French technology in 2004. The train is the second
to be built with local engineering and technology. The new prototype is made up
of two power cars and four passenger coaches with multiple motor units. As compared
to the previous model, the new train is quieter, lighter and is capable of
carrying 16% more seats.

Having read about this fastest train, it reminds me of the train in China (forgot the train name) which is fast too. So far, that is the fastest train that I ever taken when I was travelling in China few years ago.
